Getting ready for a NC Photographic Big Year in 2014.

Hey folks.  In 2013 I was lucky enough to get to 600 birds on my life list after only 1.5 years birding.  I have birded 4 countries, 16 states and 2 Canadian provinces.  In the ABA region I got up to 430 species in 2013.  In NC I got to 275 species and most of them I photographed.  This year I am planning to travel less abroad and focus more on NC.  I am hoping this will allow me the opportunity to get to know my state better and see some of the nooks and crannies that would otherwise go unnoticed.  I intend to post decent pics of all my birds so I can share with everyone as I go.  Hope you enjoy!
